Ask HTC for Shipped German Rom

I tried to flash my Herald, but it must have been too early this morning so that i bricked my OS.

I can only enter Bootloader Mode, but can´t flash because of CID - i think there are 2 alternatives:

- Wait for the official WM6 Update
- Ask HTC for the current Rom

Do you think they will send me the Update, what can i do else ???

Did you get the ROM from HTC?

No i didn´t ask because WM6 will be released the next 3 Weeks....

A german WM6 ROM? Do you think ist is possible to flash this ROM on my VPA-Version? Where do you got the information that it will be released within the next 3 weeks?

HTC released a note that WM6 roms will be shipped from June on.

Of course, there will be a German Rom BUT you own the Herald made by Vodafone, so the HTC rom won´t work. You have to wait for vodafone to release a WM6 rom.


When someone did the cid unlock for our Herald, we will be able to flash any vendor rom, but there was no success until now !

Hopefully we have a good ROM cooker soon. I prefer a fast an clean rom, like I had on my Neo - perhaps smart1 will change over

Oh yes, i also had the Prophet before - NICE !


But Herald is very fast out of the Box - Have a go and give aserg´s tuning .cab a try !

I also got this info, I sent a mail to HTC, this was the reply:
