I have had this holder for nearly two months now for my Orbit.
It is the best holder I have ever bought.
I have the Brodit with a Herbert Richter Vent Attachment.

The Brodit clips are definitely the best on the market - but clearly not the cheapest.

Just fitted mine to my Audi A4 for my orbit however regretting buying the proclip which attaches to the dash on the left side of the radio - it's too far to have to turn your head when using sat nav - am likely now to have to buy the centre vent proclip.

I have used this mount for the past 6 months (Active mount). I have the original one for the artemis and it works perfectly well with my XDA Orbit.

All the issues others have had with the fitting in the mount were not an issue. I only had to bend the mini usb connection back slightly so the device would fit perfectly.

I have had no problems of any marking my Orbit and couldn't be any happier

I also have one of these which I use with my XDA orbit in my Mazda RX8. By far the best car mouting/charging solution I have ever used - highly recommended.

A number of months after writing some of the article linked to I am more than happy with the holder, mine is the passive type which entails using a charger cable but it is easy to connect and holds the device nice and secure in the Ovlov (where some of the pictures were taken) - Mike
