Question ?CID Unlock possibility?

I was googling around for CID Unlocking the Herald when I found this:

http://www.pdaviet.net/showthread.php?t=3582

It says something that looks like CID-Unlock, registery edit this:

+Unlock:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Drivers\Builtin\TRUEFFS _DOC1
"SoftwareWriteProtect" =Dword:0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Drivers\Builtin\TRUEFFS _DOC1
"AutoDPDMode"=Dword:0

Could someone give it a try? my Herald is bricked, but this would be awesome (and way too simple if I may... ) for the Herald community

I do see it says something like:
+Unhide Ext-ROM, AND
+Unlock:

otherwise:unlock ExtRom AND unlock CID, It's really written there! (I hope so)

As far as I know from wizard is Unhide-only that the extended_rom is shown in totalcommander when you type "extended_rom" and unlock means - you can write it.

Well then, my excuses Let us post CID-unlock ideas here! a LOT of people don't want to try and flash their devices, because of being afraid that they brick them...

And by the way, you do NOT have to ulock CID before you can unlock Extended ROM
