Tray Launch Removal from T-Mobile Wing (WM6)

I have a T-Mobile Wing and I've been playing with customizing my own rom (removing programs adding in - etc) and what I've come up with is a cross between the Touch and the Iphone - I use the iLock and the iContacts, and all of the other themes and apps from the Touch as posted in the Touch for Wizard thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311225)

Now my problem is: I want to remove the annoying taskbar that holds the battery status (OEM) and etc on the bottom because I do not need it anymore. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Just delete the try.ink in \windows\startup

My Wing didn't have that in the StartUp.

Renaming this entry stopped it from loading...

HKLM/init/TrayAp.exe

I have TrayLaunch

but am not able to Add Programs to the tray
I dont have a Icon in my Programs List
so how do i get to Options ?

the cab I got says - HTC_TrayApp
& othetr cab I got from says - PHM PPC PowerToys

Is there a ful version or something wht am i missing

Maybe if you install BatteryStatus - there is a traylaunch option in that where you can add and remove icons.

I dont seem to find that option

you need the ext version of battery status and then there is a tray tab. the ext version is skinnable so i just add what i need to it other than in the tray though.
