Default Spb products and WM6.....anyone else having issues?

I've got an 8525 w/ Black Shadow IV and had some problems w/ my device waking up. then i took off all things Spb, which I love by the way, and all runs smoothly. anyone else have a similar experience?

and by "all things Spb" i mean Mobile Shell, Time and Weather. i even went back to Pocket Plus and the device wouldn't wake up w/ that either. i don't know what it is. is WM6 just not yet supported?

Mark

seems to be a Black ROM issue. I had same problems and put on lvsw, worked fine. Now using Sleuth's version of lvsw, no motivation to reflash anymore it's just perfect.
I use
spb mobile shell
spb finance

daily

and it works with (Tested, no longer using)
spb diary
spb pocketplus

cheers
Russ

interesting. i like the shadow rom but i may have to give something else a try. though it's going well and i'm a bit tired of flashing at the moment but i'm sure i'll get bored and start messing around again soon

thanks for the response.

It's Pocket Plus' safe mode. Turn that off and you should be fine.

Spb has issues at the best of times.. WM6 is even worse for their products..

Check out sbsh.net -- they're my *fav* software publisher. They have very good/cool programs, and they are CHEAP!

i too am using black shadow and a slew of spb apps. (pocket plus, mobile shell, time) but seem not to have the op's problem.

just finding a reason to reflash and try LVSW. only thing keeping me from doing so, is im just confused which version to use. .

I am using LVSW' Rom.
Spb Software:
Spb Sell Mobile 1.5: No issue.
Spb Backup 1.6.1: Scheduled Backup can't work.

I'm using Black 3.5 ROM, with:
- Spb Weather (build 764)
- Spb Pocket Plus (build 5561)

didn't notice any problem at all.
except the auto-update capability from spb weather, but it's not related to any ROM.

for backup, I'm using Sprite Backup. flawless.
have done several times restore in the past.

Go into "Advanced Options" and turn off "Stop processes before backup". This will allow shceduled backups to work.
