WM6 ROM Cooking

OK... so this is the fun stuff.

I've dumped the WM6 ROM, since everything's on DoC this should all go swimmingly in terms of putting it back together.

so... since there's a plethora of WM6 ROMs for other devices, what existing stuff shall we build a ROM with for now?

For the first go, I'd personally like to see mrvrealvga integrated as well as humanly possible into the ROM. As well as basic performance tweaks and utilities.
Otherwise, vanilla as hell. Only include things that are nearly universally used.
Example: I don't use TomTom and neither do lots of other folks. Why waste the space.
Example: I do use MS VoiceCommand and it seems like some ROMs do a good job of integrating it. I would love that, but if others don't, then scratch that.
Keep the first one mean and lean.

trueVGA interegated with the files (vijays big phone and other trueVGA files)

HTC touchFLUO files interegated (that will make it to scroll to in any menu and page)

HTC audio manager (VGA)

Ofiice 2007 for WM6

Clear storage

some tweaks (to make it fatser like GDI tweaks, storage cache tweaks)

HTC today audio plugin (from htc touch)

all the functions of WM6 intact but if microsofts voice is taken away i find it good because it never works!! need the files or cabs i have them solet me know!!

Yeah, that would be great and all... but ONLY if it can be integrated without being a space hog. Sounds like bloat-a-rama.

You have 256MB of ROM, plus 8gigs on the hard drive, what's to complain?

As you requested, i'm trying to stick to things that have already been done so you can come out with a quick and easy and OPTIMIZED ROM. :)

- Safe Mode functionality built into the ROM.

- Fix trueVGA...but not sure how much of it has been fixed other than the dialer and a few other things. Not 100% so you may want to wait on this.

- All black ROM that works in both VGA and trueVGA modes? This already exists and may be easily done. Here is an existing one http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ight=buttonflo

- Maybe Palm Threader for SMS threading?

- I would like a ROM with this look for my Athena, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311225 , all files should be available to make it easier on you if you decide to go this route. I really don't care for the today screen look but the phone and comm manager look nice. Just don't like the wallpaper. Needs to be just black without the texture used.

Garmin Mobile XT..it is in Dopod U1000 (thailand) ROM. Maybe somebody from Thailand could dump the cab..

If possible there shout be a Vanilla Rom and a full Rom, that's how the did it in the Hermes section.

this makes sense and i hate the built in voice speed diall really annoying so can we remove on the vanilla version please. also just a big thank you olipro for your services
