Default has anyone tested opera mobile? Is it significantly faster than hermes without hiccup

I love my hermes but web browsing is frustrating. Especially when opera mobile freezes up, sometimes for 5 seconds or more at a time, while rendering or even just scrolling. Does opera run significantly faster or more smoothly on the kaiser? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks,
Dan

ps. i really dislike the idea being locked in if i were to get an iphone. But web browsing is important to me and it is very good at that. I've also given up on deepfish. It doesn't seem like its going to come out until smartphone hardware is powerful enough that deepfish is unnecessary.

well you are going ot notice speed differences. the kaiser is faster at EVERYTHING. see these benchmark results:

so i think you will notice a big difference. not to mention, it has wm6. the hermes + wm6 made web browsing much faster. so can u imagine hwo this will be? you wont need to worry, this is a fast device.

wm6 (official dopod)has helped alot on my hermes. but its still not fast enough. it still hiccups on some sites. on heavy sites for even 10 seconds at a time, even without any other applications running. the short 2 second hiccups are common though.

have you had a chance to test it?
