Edge ERROR

Hi All
I need help with tmobile wing. I've had the device for a few months now and its been great except the program memory part...anyways. A couple of days back I noticed that even though GPRS / EDGE is connected it wont let me browse the internet. I thought it could have been something wrong with cookies since it wasnt working through WI-FI either. So after I deleted the cookies and all "History" and "Temporary IE", it started working fine on WI-FI but still no good on EDGE. I get this message after trying to access a site:
"Error 502 - Bad Request"
"The server could not resolve your request for uri: /".
I'm only guessing here since I'm not an expert on this matter but, prior to the WING, I had a Palm Treo, and the Tmobile Data connection worked fine until one day it stoped, and all I had to do was change my sim card. So is there a chance my sim might be damaged? thnx in advance
