If You want to try ROMs with various pagepools, You can:

1. Download and unpack the attached file into any location on Your PC.
2. Start the PagePool Changer.
3. Select the ROM file (Your RUU_signed.nbh; but - works with OS.nb too).
4. If selected file is valid ROM (pagepool size found), You can change the pagepool size. After that press "Change to" button.

Done. Pagepool size is changed. Flash the ROM and enjoy.

And never download ROMs with different pagepools anymore - don't abuse Internet with unnecessary traffic...

If target-ROM has no Boot[ULDR] partition, (like bepe's newest for Polaris) PagePool_Changer can't find PagePool signature.

The search algorithm is improved. No problem now.
2.2 - The same as 2.1, but with two new things:

• range 0-128 Mb is now allowed and
• command line mode is added; usage: PagePool Changer.exe [ROM file name [new pagepool value]]

NOTE: In command line mode pressing of the "Change" button closes the app.
2.21 - "Valid PagePool Value" is now not ">0", but ">=0"

Discussion about PP=0 is, of course, interesting-helpful-productiv...

But: for me is more interesting thing - is the algorithm I'd realised Hermes-specific or can be applied to other platforms too?

I tried to find/change PP in some ROMs. Results:

Seems like the PagePool Changer can be used by ROM cooking not for Hermes only. I checked (here and on 4pda.ru) - PP-change algorithm for Elf, Trinity and Prophet is the same as for Hermes. In Wizard's case I need to find clear description of PP-change algorithm... can someone point me to right post?

Must do. The pagepool search/find/change algorithm is the same as for Hermes: description.

ROM file has the same extension (.nbh) as Hermes and can be processed by PagePool Changer easy.

Unfortunately, I don't own the Elf and cannot flash/test ROM myself.
