Default control processor?

I know on my 6700 and my treo 700wx i was able to use either pocket hackmaster or xcpuscalar to control the processor speeds. is this still possible and is it worth it? thanks.

I know pocket hackmaster is available for the 6800 if you want to purchase it from the Sprint's Digital Lounge.

i tried to download it straight from the company website and it loads up on my mogul but there are no speeds available. i also tried xcpuscalar and it just froze my machine as soon as i tried to open the program...
