Superbright Question

Does anybody know if prolonged use of Superbright will do any damage to or shorten the life of the screen.

Also, anyone know how detremental using it is to battery run-time?

Not sure about the battery, but U can monitor that.

I wrote VJLumos III for the Hermes, around 1 year ago. I have run it, as a rule, on my Hermes as the first app I install, for 1 year, continuously. No damage done. Screen is still bright.

but about VJcandela.... why do you think Flashlight LED should only be used
in short bursts of some seconds? In SonyEricsson phones (i own a K750i) the
LED Flashlight option is also there (out of the box) and you can use the PhotoLED
as Flashlight for infinite time. I used it many times on one piece for at least
20 minutes without problems. Phone is 3 years now and LED still OK. I would
appreciate if at least the bursts would be longer (120 seconds or so would be
better). Is it possible to tweak? I would really appreciate....
