Default Ordering from the UK for the US

Ok well looks like im going to order mine from the UK just had one question tho. Being it comes with the UK plug for chargeing I should still be able to just get a standard Igo style charger for it to use here in the US correct or am i going to be stuck chargeing it off my USB port on my comp being UK uses a diff voltage?

You just need a plug converter and you'll be fine.

The main issue is when you take US stuff to the UK as our power is 110 or 120 Volt and theirs is 240. That equals exploded electronics. If you take a 240 only adapter and plug it into US mains, it just doesn't get enough power which in the case of a charger means very slow charging. Other cases, like say an alarm clock, probably wont work, but no exploding.

The power changer for the TyTn II should list 110-240 on it, which means get an adapter and you are fine.

Or, if you have a pda currently, you can use your current charger and you should have no problems at all.

Don't forget you might have to pay import duties when it goes through US customs - it can sometimes add a fair whack onto the price!

FYI I imported a laptop from Canada and US customs later charged me $64 I believe. So I wouldnt expect too much of a price add-on if one at all. This is a 17" XPS so its pretty hefty.

DONATE TO ME
With the currency conversion, doesn't it make it about a $1000.00 USD phone? Or are you getting it VAT excluded since you are from here? What does it come to if you don't mind me asking?

I ordered mine from Clove Technologies and had it shipped via DHL. It arrived in 3 days and there are no duties for items under $2000.

I got mine from Expansys (MobilePlanet) It was shipped last Thursday and arrived on Friday. Price was $798 which seems to be the average going rate.
