Charging for the first time

Hi,

I just got mine!

For the first time, I think I need to charge it for at least 12 - 14 hours, right?

During this process, may I turn it on?

Or should I wait until the first long charge process finished?

I have always plugged mine in and waited for the green light before playing with them. However, can't see a reason why you couldn't play with it as long as it remains plugged in and charging....
