Question HTC MOGUL - MOTO Q - Sprint?

Hey all,

I have Sprint and the Motorola Q and I use it one-handed pretty often to make phone calls. I just take it out of my pocket, type in the letters corresponding to the person i want to call, and click call. I do this all with 1 hand. Is it possible to make phone calls this quickly to any of the 200+ people on my contact list? I'm worried that the slide out keyboard would be harder to handle with 1 hand and making a phone call would be more difficult. I figured you guys are the best people to ask about this since you all know about a ton of hacks that can get this done. oh yeah, just to clarify, I will not switch carriers. I want the Mogul because it has everything on it that I need, and 1 or 2 things I want. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

With the mogul you press the green call button.
This brings up a virtual numberpad - 1-9, with 3-4 letters per number like normal
If you have an entry in your phoenbook for "Home"
pressing the nubmers (just like t9) 4663 and that will dial "H-O-M-E", it will also bring up anyone who has taht as their number (ex. 555-4663, or 546-6355) etc.. or anything else with "HOME" in it (Homeboy 111, Chomez, etc...)
hope that helps.

You mean the dialing? Possibly
The phone? Muuuuch different. My brother has a Q, it works greate as a phone, but the Mogul is more of a mini-laptop. Phone is secondary.

Default think of it as a pocket pc- not a phone

Is what I tell everyone who is shocked at what I paid for my Mogul. Not a $300 phone- $250 off a pocket Pc running wm6

Coming from a Palm Treo it still irks me little that it primarily acts like a PPC and then as a phone (second). Still love it though...

I went from a 6600 to Q to Mogul. The Mogul is the best unit of the 3. I like to edit my Office docs, which Windows Smartphone does not allow. I couldn't wait to unload my Q, I only had it for 6 months.

It's like someone said, if you want primary phone with secondary computer-type ability, buy a smartphone, but if you want computer capability with phone as secondary function, buy a PPC.
