Default Kaiser arrived! Stylus question! lol

OK i A D O R E this phone so far! Everything that annoyed me about the Universal, doesn't apply to this phone!

1 thing i have noticed... when i move the stylus across the screen, it feels 'scratchy' and im getting paranoid that im going to start scratch teh screen lol, has anyone else noticed this?!

Got mine today -- the first thing I did was to put on a WriteShield screen protector on it. I had one left over from my Wizard; the Kaiser screen is almost exactly the same size as the Wizard's.

Note that there should be a screen protector in the box -- use it if you're worried about scratching the screen.

My wizard did that but never scratched. The touch screen is made to withstand your stylus and other tiny abuse. Never the less, slap on a screen protector for sure.

yes, i did feel that the kaiser screen has more friction when i write especially in chinese on it with the stylus. then i put a screen protector on it and now its all smooth. the screen protector that came in the box was trash, it was not smooth and the transparent rate wasnt that high.

Damn, I am so horny about kaiser, I can hardly wait for it. However since I live in Croatia, it's probably take another month or so for T-Com to start selling them here.

Currently I own MDA Vario, and what I mostly hate about it, is the fact that stylus is sliding out of phone shell. Mine started falling out in less than two months after I bought my Vario.

Do you think that they have the same design flaw in kaiser? Why didn't they at least make the stylus hole on top of device (like HP did for IPaq PDA-s)?

People had that problem with the Universal (although i never did :P)

The stylus on the Kaiser seems VERY secure, i'm sure you'll have absolutely no issues with it coming out.

Both my Hermes and Kaiser started of a little "gritty" at the start. I think there is a a fine coating that wears off after a while. Certainly my Hermes did and the Kaiser after a couple of days use is beginning to smooth out. Just something that is present when it's so new.

Worth noting that I've been pushing loads of apps onto the Kaiser, including memory hungry ones and NO Lock ups at all so far and it's fast compared to the TyTn. To those that said why upgrade for the sake of a couple of new things (GPS mainly), I can only say that so far it's behaved perfectly.

One minor concern - despite the overall speed benefit, my IE scrolling seems a bit gltchy anyone else noticed this?
