Do we have one already? If not I've created xda-developers on Palringo so we can get together and discuss all things HTC.
http://www.palringo.com/ Once you're in with your client of choice go to "Groups" and "Join a Group" then type in "xda-developers" to join and start chatting. If you're on your mobile and don't have a good data tarif you might want to use wifi; photo-spam will ensue! Damn I'm addicted to this app! |

Palringo is a great app.
I'm there too and I'm inviting anyone to signup! |

I've never had the inclination to uninstall it, but that's a bit irritating.
I imagine the error is Palringo attempting to run at startup? In which case you can manually go into the start up items folder of your device and remove the shortcut. The folder path is \Windows\StartUp Last edited by wodeh; 3rd October 2007 at 05:50 PM.. |

PTT just seems to send a WAV. Can it not do proper PTT even Palringo to Palringo?

Palringo is the second most-used app on my phone (Opera Mini is #1). The recent update that adds the "chat" menu is a huge improvement, since I can actually have multiple IM windows open now. I don't like the fact that my connections are proxied through palringo servers, but it's still the best free IM app I've found.
BTW, even the JavaME version works on the Kaiser in JBED. Don't know why anyone with a Kaiser would want to use it, but it's still cool. I used the Samsung version. I just joined the group, so I might bug some of you just to try out the PTT and other features I've never used before. |
