Default Can we keep deleted texts from going in "deleted items" folder?

I am trying to find a way to permanently delete texts from my inbox. I do not want them to go into the "deleted items folder".

So, when I delete a text msg from my inbox, I want it to be gone permanently.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Smile got it

I thought this would be neat
i found in the reg DWORD called TrashEmpty it was set to 1, i changed it to 0 and then BAM! what we were looking for
I set it back to 1 and messages were going in my Deleted items again

It was in Current User/software/microsoft/inbox
if memory serves me correctly

awesome tip. i always found that annoying. but i think the options allows you to choose the setting for when the deleted items folder is emptied. Its under the Storage tab, if you set it to "immediately" you should also solve the same problem.
