Simlock/SIM LOCK: Successfully SIM unlocked G4 MDA VARIO

First: I love this site as it is loaded with very helpful information.
Thanks to all of you helpful souls!

But ...
Sometimes it’s a difficult to find the right stuff.
(It took me almost 2 hours to find the right thread and software
to unlock my G4 T-Mobile Vario Wizard.)

That’s why I created this post.
Hopefully it helps people to locate the respective information

My device is a German T-Mobile (G4)
IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21.0001
ROM: 2.21.2.8 GER (3/9/06)

I have downloaded Lokiwiz 3.0a and followed the procedure described here:

Sorry for the off-topic but i must say this: Took you two hours because you didn't read the Wiki first or started with the Sticky threads.

The main reason for being so hard to find something is because of repeated posts with same questions over and over...

We could go on forever with this game where i say now that your reply did exactly what mine did (waste server space) and then you post again... but the truth is that you don't see in my post words that can mislead a search result so i don't get your point.
