Request HK English Kaiser ROM dump (for display Chinese project)

Hello all,

Please upload HK English Kaiser ROM dump. I call it HKE here. It will use for make a english cook ROM able to display Chinese.

I own a HK CHT Kaiser. But I don't like the Chinese interface. Reason to buy CHT version it because I need display Chinese.

Long Text:
I start a project to make WWE ROM display chinese. I was success to make it. But there is problem is WWE ROM's Internet Explorer's signature is not allow by HK telco. For example, I cannot access mobile.three.com.hk (Carrier: 3)
So I need a HKE ROM to test.

Another project is make HK CHT Kaiser use English interface. It is more better to keep those Chinese application (especially voice regconize app). But it is more difficult I thought.

By the way, CHT ROM cannot successfully re-constructed after dump from Kaiser. There is expert here checking on it (i hope). I will continue study how to make it work.

well, my tilt is english ROM, and I add some cab which can let me support both T/S chinese. not CE-Star.

Can you upload the ROM?
Pls aware that, if you use cab and instruction in the following page. Uninstall the cab may cause phone and other application not working.

I haven't try to find out the reason.

And add those cab is not able to trim down WM6. So I decide to start the project.

i am using helmi_c cooked rom tho, which is not HK english ROM.

ic, it seems no one has such ROM here. I posted in HK forum before to see possible to get it too. If no HKE ROM obtain, the only way is make CHT ROM re-construction work. WWE ROM is not suitable to use in HK. I am use austinsnyc WWE ROM now. As said before, cannot access 3G portal to view streaming video ..etc. I will try to ask telco fix it too.

Tadzio is near to put the 2.1 final version of his tools. I hope helps you with the reconstructed CHT ROM to work.

i am actually not using that software from the website you ve shown.

Radio Date 09/05/07
Radio Version 1.27.12.11
Protocol Version 22.45.88.07H

I am using CeStar which comes bundled when I puirchase the phone. Is this the english rom you are refering to?

Hello benme23,

I am unsure your ROM is the one I want. But if the device is purchase in HK it should be ok. If you use 3 network, this ROM should be able to access mobile.three.com.hk.

I just tested 2.1 RC2. It the error is same when use -conservative mode.
