What's this Square Box under Settings > Buttons

I have an AT&T Tilt, Uploaded with the Original HTC Firmware

If you click on Settings > Buttons >

Choose any button (Let's choose IE)

Assign a program: On the Very top of the list is a square BOX.

How do you delete it?

I tried searching in the registry for a square box, and found nothing..

If you assing the button to this Square Box and press the key, you get an error message..

I'm very picky about these kinds things showing up on my device!!
