AT&T Tilt ROM weirdness?

So Im loving my new Tilt....except when I got it, the AT&T ROM just seemed buggy. Menus would hang, the scroll wheel would work erratically (sometimes it would scroll up, sometimes down...) and a few other things...
So I tried the HTC ROM. Which worked very very well.
But then I realized that it was an older build of the OS...so I wanted to go back to the AT&T one, which people have mentioned works pretty well if you cancel out the customization. But I can't figure out how to do that.
After a threw that ROM back on, when it rebooted and started to count down to the customization, the only button in the box was "OK" not cancel.

Any thoughts on all of this? None of the other cooked ROMs seem to be quite what Im looking for yet....
