MUST haves for newbies??

Hi all,

I've read through the various topics, but there is sooo much to add on the Kaiser. It is hard for a not so technical newbie to understand everything what is said.

The first add-on I installed was the Windows Live CAB, very usefull! With reference to my situation as a first day user, i thought it might be a good idea to open a topic for newbies with the must have files of for the Kaiser.

So, senior users and perhaps programmers.. enlighten us

- Would like to install the Iphone CAB

im a noob on the tilt and NOTHING installs properly.... has at&t sabotaged the phones ability to install cab files ?

I've never had a problem installing any cab on the tilt.


My guess is it's you. describe step by step in excruciating detail how you are trying to install and I bet the problem will surface.

And as far as must haves, there's few MUST haves. it's more of a preference after that.


you MUST have
a reg editor - if you want to tweak stuff.
a GPS program. tomtom/IG/google maps all will do


everything else is preference. Take a look at the kaiser cab post and decide for yourself what's important to you

Since this afternoon I've installer HardSPL and updated with a HTC rom, dutch language based.

I've installed several more CABs, listed in the Kaiser Cab topic, bur haven't found the Iphone Look Theme... Someone able to help me with this?

Anyone with some extra tips or tweaks?

do a youtube search for iphone and wisbar

i believe that in order to get the iphone look/feel you will need to buy $20 worth of software from wisbar

wisbar advanced
wisbar desktop

i believe that both are needed (thats what youtube told me)
