Default what's the best car mount for kaiser

Hi, I'm looking for a car mount for my kaiser, could some one give me their opinion? I need one that I can plug my usb/audio y cable, but also one that allows me to slide into mount and to usb.

thanks!

I am most definately interested in getting some opinions as well. I have googled "kaiser car mount" and found a few kits for around 30$ but I wanted to know if anyone had any better options. Some of the ones I found seem very clunky and I want something as minimally intrusive as possible

Thanks!
Device : HTC Glacier (MyTouch 4G)

hey i got the following from best buy. so far its been great, i can plug in my car charger/headset no problem. the only thing is that u cant slide out the keyboard while using this mount (which i've never had to do). the nice thing is that its got a long arm, so its pretty close to you

thanks for the opinion, but it's not slide-in one is it? Also, I don't see usb plug, but am I supposed to plug it in manually?

I'm looking for a one that I could slide in to both mount and to usb....

thanks

no its not a slide in one; it leaves the area where you plug in the charger free though

Thats the ACTIVE version of that hardware, with its own charger.

If you get the Passive version of the hardware theres no charger block on the bottom, leaving the USB slot free and open for Data/Charger/Audio slotting in,

That mod, I believe was only for people with the ACTIVE, who wanted to use not just charge, but also audio and data too.

So look for the passive, and you wont need to mod it.

There is no mount available right now to do this without some modification...

Default Best Car Mount

Haven't looked at other models but I've been pretty happy with a PDA universal unit from http://www.arkon.com/ ...

I personally liked the seat mounted flexible gooseneck model. Go to AutoZone or chief and get the special star socket wrench accessory made specifically for the size of your seat bolt. (An Allen wrench will probably strip the bolt if you beast on it...)

It holds my AT&T Tile / HTC Kaiser and also came with a surface mount adapter that I was able to adapt to my old Magellan GPS unit. Also will hold my I-pod and my old Treo 600. So it's a pretty versatile unit all around...

Took about 5 minutes to install. Put in passenger seat and doesn't get in way of passenger at all. No complaints from passengers...
