GREAT case!
I got my nutshell case in crocodile black with the large flap with magnetic closure and belt clip and loop and pen loop and carry strap--basically loaded. I wore it all day today on my belt and it works great. The strap was a little short for me; I should have noted that I was tall and needed "more than average" length on the strap.

this was the exact case:
http://tuff-as-nuts.com/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=564

This started when I complained of not having a suitable case for my x7510 here at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...33#post4881633

and techntrek referred me to nutshell, the top url. GREAT CASE! I have to admit, it was more roomy than expected when received. If I place the unit without the keyboard in there, there's alot of room all around the unit. With the magnetic keyboard in place, the x7510 still fits with several millimeters of space on all sides. If you want a case for the unit without the keyboard, you'll need to reduce all three dimensions LxWxH by about 3 millimeters if you use a large magnetic flap like I ordered.

I saw the differnet order sku for the x7510 with leather book case attached, and did NOT want that nor did I get it. This top url case is not large enough to hold the x7510 with the leather case--good.

I might order another one of these cases in the near future, this time experimenting with a 3 or 4millimeter reduction in vertical and horizontal dimensions for a tighter fit, and a separate "thin" compartment specifically to hold just the keyboard--this would be a great extra option (if it were available, I'd order it for sure)--and it could double for storage of small papers or cards if the keyboard is not in there.

The Black crocodile leather is very nice--top quality. I got a 10% order discount when I called and asked (although paypal does not reflect the $12.00 discount yet.. hmmm..I'll ask about that) as I thought the case was a bit pricey with all the options I wanted, but the discount sealed the deal.

This case would make a GREAT Christmas present for someone with an Athena--x7500, x7501, or x7510. They got the case to me in ~2 weeks from order date to California in the USA.

Well done!

DONATE TO ME
the closest thing to a "tough" case is the Zagg invisible shield armor full body for HTC Athena

apparently in the Zagg website, our PHONE is considered to be a LAPTOP... LOL

Donation is appreciated but not required, a cup of Coffee would suffice
