Default WM6 Help
Hello,

Just bought the Ameo :)

It is Tmobile UK, i know this would have been asked one million times but i must ask...after searches!

How can i unlock it (safely!, no risk of black screen/breakin it) so i can use other sims other then t-mobile

and also how can i get WM6 instead of WM5?

Hi Chris,

there's a rom upgrade available directly from Tmobile which doesn't need to unlock. Look in the WM6 section, just where you double posted, there's a thread named "Official WM6 ROM for T-Mobile users ". The second reply in this thread links to the upgrade.

Or just read the Athena unlocker thread on the Athena forum and the Hard-SPL thread on this forum. Then upgrade to Dual and enjoy!
