ipaq 6900 + 4 GB miniSDHC

hello everyone .
does anybody tried any 4gb minisdhc on ipaq 6900 series .
I want to know about SDHC not the regular minisd cards.
I found a driver which claim it make the card work in wm5 . --> http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=35659
can someone confirm or tell me if the driver works or not as well as 4gb SDHC cards on ipaq 6900 ?

I can not speak for the 4gb SDHC cards but I used a 4gb standard miniSD card in my 6945 no problems.

none of the stores here sell regular 4gb. all of them have SDHC. that's why i need to know before buy one

AS FOR ME I DON'T RECOMMEND OF HAVING UNNEEDED INFO ON CARD AND I USE ONLY 2G ULTRA OF SUNDISK
TAKE SOME 2M WORD FILES FROM YOUR PC
COPY TO THE DEVICE
TRY TO OPEN WORD ON YOUR DEVICE,THEN YOU WILL SEE IT ACTS SLOWER (THEN TRY WITH ONLY 1M... LOOK AT THE EFFECT)
IF YOU ADD MORE AND MORE INFO TO YOUR CARD IT HAS TO FIND IT AND LET'S SAY USEING GPS SOFTWARE & HAVING MAP OF ALL THE WORLD IF YOU ARE ONLY IN N.Y. WILL NOT HALP MUCH BUT WILL GET THING SLOWER

I TRY TO DIFFRAG AND KEEP CARD CLEAN FROM UNNEEDED INFO AND ALL WORKS GRATE WITHIN 2G

I was not able to use a 4 GB SDHD with my 6915. I do not know if the card was good or not as I exchange it for a SD 2 GB

ON A 6G CARD IT ONLY IDENTIFIED AS 2G

Hi everyone,
I finally bought a kingston 4gb miniSDHC and tried it on on own ipaq 6955 ( rogers branded ).

1- without the driver the card is unrecognized
2 - after installing the driver, it fully detect the card and showed 3.9gb avaialable space and it worked really fast .
3 - after a while I noticed that my programs which installed on the card in not working ( it worked at the begining ) .
4 - everytime I took the card out and insert it again, the problem was solved for few hours and again it came back
5 - the reason was it browse the card and show the folders but when I tried to see the files in the folders, it showed all the folders empty!!!!!
6 - I fromated the disk bye fat, partitioned it and steel the same,
7 - last thing I did today is that I format 2 partitions using FAT instead of FAT32.


it workes fine now, but i'll give u and update soon .
I still dont know if it is the card problem or driver problem, because i dont have any other cards ( 4gb minisdhc ) to try .
wait for more updates

I changed my card with different card ( same brand ) 4gb kingston minisdhc and still the same problem .

any sugestions ?
