Default Vogue Custom ROMs ?

Anyone out there brave enough to share up their OEM ROM?
Or even the original WWE from HTC?

From what I understand, there's at least 3 carriers in NA w/ HTC Vogue: AFAIK, we've got Sprint, Bell and Telus.

People, share up your ROM!

Doesn't look like there are too many people who want to help you with this. I'm looking into swapping my Titan for a Vogue in the near future so once I have it I will find out how to dump the Rom and see whats even possible. I would say that the only real reason to build a custom ROM with this particular device would be to remove all of the bloatware from Sprint. It is the TOUCH, the epitome. It is what everyone else here is trying to replicate. Why change it except to maybe change the page pool or remove unwanted apps? It's already great as it is.

I hate the sprint bloatware - forced Sprint page start up on mobile IE, etc, I dislike what Sprint has done with the ROM. more then willing to be a test case.

Default actually....

actually it is possible and the oem roms are posted if you search.

I have a touch and i've had it since they day it came out. A couple weeks after it was released ImCokeMan released a patched SPL to allow you to flash with custom roms.

There are also OEM Roms for the Touch from Sprint readily available if you do a little searching. I'd suggest checking out ppcgeeks.com

btw... i've cooked several custom roms for the Sprint Touch (Vogue). The thing is that the Touch (Vogue) has a pretty solid, high performance rom to begin with. There are only a few modifications that anyone would even desire in a custom rom at this point...

again "search" is your friend.

Thx; however, there's only a couple out there from Sprint... I was hoping to try out some other OEMs....

Vogue is a pretty strong ROM... not much to add to it except GPS and WIFI... that's the "million dollars question...

This could also be problematic... Without the extras that Sprint adds onto the ROM(barring Pocket IE), it could affect the phone functions as well couldn't it? This is not a standard GSM phone we are talking about here that simply needs a Network Wizard to automatically configure for carrier. This is a little more advanced.

I believe removing all non-OEM settings/apps from the ROM might render it not usable on their network.

However, one way is to input some network settings manually afterwards....
##778# gives you some details to maybe copy manually....

Well I think that someone needs to build some kind of custom ROM if anything. The Touch has a bad memory leak in the official ROM. If you leave the device on, plugged in and turned on, for more than 24 hours you will notice a considerable memory leak. The device has 128Mb of RAM and after soft-reset with nothing running on the device other than the OS, it has 77Mb free. After being turned on for more than 25 hours without soft-reset, it only has less than 45Mb free. That more than 30Mb leak is a big problem for anyone looking to max out their system and add all of the latest and greatest apps and games for their phones.
