radio uprade.

Hi to all the masters. i have an xda2 and dont know how to upgrade the radio version. I'm currently running 7.0c.40cs but my radio is still at 1.08. I was wanting to upgrade to 1.17. Could someone help me as to how to update the radio version?

First of all Welcome to Xda-developers..

Radio upgrade is very easy..its just like flashing a ROM..the difference is that u replace the nk.nbf (which came with ur ROM ) file with a radio.nbf.....

1.Create a Folder on ur PC..Name it Radio..Copy the utility named
HimaUpgradeUt_noID to this folder from ur downloaded ROM

2.Then Download One of the Radio roms from this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333226

3. Enter Bootloader mode (same as u did when flashing ur ROM )

4. Run the HimaUpgradeUt_noID Utility and sit back till u get Congratulations screen

5.Just soft reset ( hard reset recommended )

and VOILA UR DONE

please help mr ather,this about radio rom upgrading,i already upgrading to all radio_.nbf in this forum but always show error upgrading not finished,

well the solution is this :

First of all make sure you plug the USB cable directly to ur pc usb panel not to a front panel or a hub...then make sure u enter bootloader mode...after that make sure u run HIMAUPGRADEITNOID or what ever its name is it should be ending with NOID....after that flash as u normally do...read the instructions from my prev post if required

Did I need to re-install all the applications if I just flash the radio rom only ?

U no need to re-install all the apps, just place ur Radio file in one folder with Upgrade tool tht's it....... (same flashing ROM but this time no ROM file include)....Good luck......
