Charmer speaker no longer ringing..any ideas

My friend has a charmer and though the phone still works there is no ringing from the speaker. The vibrate function still works etc. Tried soft resetting but still nothing. Anyone any ideas....cheers jd76....

Probably the headphone slot is jammed which is causing the problem. The phone "thinks" the headphones are plugged in, and that's why you dont hear anything from the rear speaker. Take a needle and try to scratch the headphone slot in the inside.

had this problem with one of mine, the speaker had completely blown. got a new one on e-bay and fitted it.

fitting is a bit dirricult at first but simple once you have got the phone open.

I'm now going to have to do the same with my Charmer, as well. I feel the same thing wil happen to the replacement speaker, eventualy.
