MDA Compact ROM Upgrade

I see there is an Upgrade for the ROM/OS for the Magician which I understand should solve my SDIO Wifi card lockups ( Bios Upgrade needed) I see by the Post (UPDATE 2 - Fixes) Rom Wwe 2.03 For Htc Magician (jam) that it looks very straightforward. As I am very attached to this MDA Compact I cant afford for it to go down . Can u advise whether I can use the above 'Upgrade' with the MDA Compact which I understand is the same phone as the Magician?

oi mate it does work i tryed it on my mda
but i dont know about thw wifi thing i havent tryed that

i am using it on my o2 mini, sandisk wlan card..802.11+256 mb storage..it works good..drivers are on sandisk website...

Thanks for feedback on this matter. Whats the info about BIG Storage? Is there improved memory available on this upgrade? Anyone had any bugs or problems since the Upgrade? Certain comments have been about a 'Hard Reset' before adding the extra updates? Any tips on a successful Upgrade? Probably gonna have a stiff Brandy before carrying it out!

i have htc magician and i tried to instal windows 6 but when i want to enter in bootloader the screen goes black ,he disconnects and its showing Serial/Usb V1.00 ... what should i do?i have windows mobile 2003... and I really want to have w6 help please
