Hahahahaha. How naïve. Off you go then…
I don't hear "the masses" calling for anything. If you want the app, pay the money.

Thanks for the info.
Your right, those who want to buy the commercial product should. I actually took a look back at the free version (.91) as well as ICS Control (free) and got them both to function the way I needed them to.
The free versions with a few tweaks work just like the paid version without the visual feedback.
charging issue, i also have the stop charging issue while using wifi on 3g with my Touch Pro and latest WMWifirouter, few steps i have taken are - slide open keyboard, take out stulys and set WIFI to low power(batter battery setting) and turn off screen. Even then it still stops charging after few mins. Granted it is about 75F at my place now - still very annoying issue. Any fix so far or other tricks(besides putting it into freezer on blowing fan on the phone)?
Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 and HTC Flyer, HTC Wizard,Diamond - yes i am a HTC freak since Wallaby(2002)- and yes its still fully functional!!!

There's no specific fix for this. The battery driver turns off charging due to the temperature of the phone. It is to prevent damage. Unfortunately it does this by a very large margin... I'm taking the TyTN II as an example because the original stock ROM didn't do this... it has run WMWR for a month straight at 70C without any damage whatsoever (and keeping charge) - with later ROMs it stops charging at 48C.
It is certainly possible to modify the battery drivers to not turn off charging, but doing this will certainly void warranties (intentionally disabling a safety measure).
where is the download link for this? i had wmwifirouter working before from a torrent, but now for some reason it gives me a trial expired and non of the serials work.

is there a thread showing how to do this? i have a used mogul so i could care less about warranty. or maybe something where you can change the limit to 70c or 75c or something.
Also how can you see the current temp of your device?

Are you seriously asking about warez??
Let's not get into this...
I'm thankful for this great piece of software, which I use on a daily basis.
Now I have a new Touch Pro 2, and the update to v1.5 makes it work on it. But no bluetooth support, any idea on a release date for the support of the new BT stack on the TP2?
I find it most useful as the throughput is sufficient, no wires and low consumption compared to Wifi....
HTC Desire - Desire Z HTC Touch Pro
HTC Touch Pro 2 HP IPaq 214 - HX4700
Ipod Touch 3G/ 4G

There no set time table, but yes it should be supported eventually. This stack works very different though, it may take some time.

I don't know of any thread showing how, it is very complicated to do (though not impossible). Current temperature of the battery can be seen in the statistics / overview and statistics / battery screens in WMWifiRouter.
