It wasn't in BL mode , what was happen after apear the finish windows ?
I've try 1GB, 2GB ... miniSD card, it's very good for flash.
I think the menthod flash ROM via miniSD (not flash bootloader) never kill your PDA.

Use Transcend miniSD. Kingston 2Gb does not work. After HR we`v got same wm5. Or use cards <256Mb.

Pls. suggest the way to downgrade BL 1.0.5 to 1.01 original as someone ask before.
Do you mean that extract SP34053 and then extract HpRUU patched and copy and paste in c:ipaq/sp34053. After that run the new RUU with USB connect to my device?

Exactly. But that doesn't work for me. Error code 101:Image file is corrupt

Yes, it does not work for me also. But I saw prob. Airone can fix that by Nhocbanme suggestion on page 2.

That menthod I've test success in HP6828.

I use 6828 also but may be because of Vista?? cos, I try your rom 1 st. version, it faceed problem but when I change to XP computer, it's success.

There is no bl 1.0.1 for rw6815.. so, only way - minisd?
