Default google map offline maps is possible?????

i've installed googlemaps beta and is wonderful but to use this software as tomtom is too expansive (sownload map from internet). it's could be possible to go with offline map?

As far as i know... no.
The google maps downloads the map data on the fly (as you scroll).
I have a 5GB data plan, so it's not a big problem for me :P

yes, on the fly.
in france, we have illimythic, it's an unlimited data so it's perfect for google maps, rss news, internet .... and it's only 6 euros more than a normal subscription.

Search google for a program called Google Navigator lets you download maps on phone you can select an area of a map and it will download that area with all zoom levels and views, its very good. Plus it has neat features like street view (before google maps had it) kml creation and other stuff.

how do I select area I want to download and how do I dowload maps for that area with all zoom levels...
