The same reason...I just like the design better, as well as the strap. But what features does the 150 have that the 100 does not??
My dad bought the MBW-100. Definitely more elegant and classy (for the business type). It weighs more, because it has a metallic strap instead of a polyurethane one. The ONLY TWO TECHNICAL DIFFERENCES compared to the MBW-150 models, is that the MBW-100 doesn´t allow you to see the track name on the OLED display and that there is no "previous track" switch...source
This Means no extra features will be usable because I use the "track name" for text output from Windows Mobile (so no text will be visible, only envelope when receiving message and caller name on incoming call).

I have the Classic edition and I was confirmed it works on Music edition as well so it just must be compatible with Executive as well.

As a side note i'd love to see the software support email notification. I don't use sms at all but I rely heavily on email.

Thanks for the info. I will make some list of confirmed compatible devices in the first post.
E-mail notifications already are supported. It can't read the email/sender/subject (yet), but it notify you about new e-mail.
I don't know about the Abacus watch, but moneytoo is perfectly right about the differencies of the MBW-100 to the MBW-150.
The differencies regarding the MBW-150 editions are just housing and straps. The inside is absolutely identical, except the music edition having an orange display.
I don't know about the MBW-100 software features, but on the hardware side it offers less buttons. As moneytoo said, theres no "Back/Volume down" button.
If you like the MBW-100 because of the design, you might have a look at the MBW-150 Executive Edition.
Ordered mine, classic model, found it for just 200 euro (277 USD/140 Pounds), not to much so decided I might want to gamble if it fits my wrist.
Will test all of the non htc-home functions for you.
Should arrive in about 2 days.
hi,
i'm interested on buy a SE watch, but i have a doubt.
is possible to use in conjuction with a headset (lg-style-i).
is possible to connect the htc (x7500), the headset (lg style-i) and the watch (SE) at the same time.
in this usage, the watch vibrates when a call is incoming and the headset is enabled to speak ??
thanks for your reply !!

I've been using the Nokia HS-12W and the MBW-150 with my X7500 for almost 5 days now.
Therefore I assume any other BT headset will work.
No problem man.
v0.1.5.2 - Excellent update mate!
I still have the "Appointment: 00:00, 1.1.01" happening though. Other than that, great progress. It's amazing, how fast this app is being developed. Since January 24th when you first pointed me to this thread, the application went thru like 5 major revisions. This is insane and the feature set is getting, well, huge!
I love Windows Mobile. I love expandability. Eat that, Mr iPhone

Thanks for the info. As always. I believe you won't see "Appointment: 00:00, 1.1.01" with the next version any longer (it's fixed on smartphones but it seems I have to fix it another way to make it work on Pocket PC too).
Suddenly I'm experiencing some problems with my watch. It won't give me any message of incomming calls (no vibration, no name on screen). What could be wrong?

(Only thing I've tried is softreset.)
Thx, Pål
Turn off WiFi.
Try restarting your WM device, turning off/on BT on both WM and watch.
If it wont work, try to change the Incoming COM port number.
Last chance is to master reset the watch, sometimes it helped me because the watch was refusing to connect anymore.
The watch and connection to the PDA is really great, because i can set my phone to a silent profile and let the watch notify me of everything.
The only problem i have is that my phone needs to wake me up at night if i get text messages or calls. This means i cannot forget to set the profile of my phone to 'normal', or i miss important & urgent calls or messages.
I have no idea if this is usefull for others, but it would be great if i could set a simple schedule that switches the profile of my phone.
For example:
at 8:00 in the morning it should set the profile to 'silent'
at 22:00 in the evening it should set the profile to 'normal'
Maybe it is possible to get the available profiles, and let people add schedules with two parameters: hour & profile
