Okay....does anyone have a MBW-100 that they've tried to get this to work with?? I mean, I wanna' buy that watch but I don't wanna' take a big risk by using a watch other than MBW-150 along with WinMo6.1 Professional (because are we even sure that it works with WinMo 6 Pro??)

I like the design of MBW-100 but MBW-150 has a few more features you can take adventage of. Why do you want to buy MBW-100? Althrough all the basic features (vibrating, displaying caller, envelope) should work because it uses the same commands. (But I've never tested it)

onedutch:
I have made some small change in v0.1.4.3 so maybe this is what helps (it may not appear immediately, just wait few seconds after the watch starts vibrate).

Added messaging info screen (press stop button) and WMP info displaying current playing track (no WMP control, yet).

Few questions for everyone:
1) What feature do you miss most? What would you like to do with your watch?
2) Do you use Notification repeat?
3) Does everything works?
4) What's the lamest thing/feature of smartWatchM? What's needed to focus on and improve?

More control over the device. More control over other features. Media player control wouldn't really be that bad. I just discovered that I can use my device as a portable video player in the car when mounted in the GPS crade And not having to operate it using the touch screen would rock. But get the important stuff done first before fiddling around with multimedia stuff... Maybe you could make use of MortScript to get some decent stuff done...

2) Do you use Notification repeat?
Yes, 10 times all 3 minutes. Should do...

More or less. Sometimes the connection breaks and you just can't get it back doing a clean initialisation. You have to disconnect, turn off/on bluetooth etc etc to get it back working. But it's coming along nicely, very very nicely.
Eventually you could implement some sort of volume control. So if I'm driving and using the hands free function, it would be great to regulate the volume "blindly" from your wrist watch. You'd have to think about the battery meter then of course. But since the watch supports "long press" of each button, could you do something out of that? Batterymeter is a long press and volume a short press. I don't know, just an idea.

There isnt really anything lame about your program, but what I discovered today: if you have unread emails and unread SMS and you query the phone using the stop button, there is no delay after showing "New E-Mail", the "New SMS" gets sent immediately afterwards. When there are different unread/missed elements and/or calls, smartWatchM should wait a bit after sending one notification before sending out the next one.

Default Caller Name is working better then before.

Hello Moneytoo,

To be honest, I was sleeping, I was walking around with version 1.4.1. all the time. I just discovered 1.4.3. (An to my disappointment missed 1.4.2. for testing) The caller name is working great, sometimes the watch is first showing number to show name in an instant afterwards (Software has to look it up or something). I haven't tested is yet wit the BT GPS connected and walking to the kitchen several times.
What i liked very much is the 2 lines of text (used the Extra test feature) it readable. I thought those fonts would be to small, butt it is verry workable!

1. Reading SMS messages would be my most wanted feature. Best would be that the screen could scroll Vertical instead of horizonal. Did you checked if you can scroll Vertical Lines?
2. I agree with Schaggo, more control over the watch, perhaps the 2 softbuttons on your Windows mobile device could represent the two bottoms on you watch (top and bottem left buttons)
3. Reading E-mail "Sender" and "Subject Lines"
4. RSS feed 'ticker' so you can customize/personally your watch with your preferred feeds.
5. Calendar notifications, so when your appointment Alarm rings you MBW notifies you with the subject of the appointment.
6. I also discovered the 'stop' button screen which shows the missed calls, unread E-mail/SMS/MMS summary. I never use MMS, perhaps you could add a configure options that it would check the number of unread messages of a 'custom' subfolder of the Inbox. This is a feature even my PDA Tytn has not got:
a. On our Exchange server I receive all my E-mails in my own mailbox.
b. I have placed some 'Outlook Server Side' rules on Incomming E-mail, so when a Message comes in from my work, this E-mail will be placed directly in a Subfolder of my Outlook.
c. These subfolders are also present on my PDA tytn, so when the ExchangeActiveSync has syned, the 'Work Mail' subfolder has a few unread E-mails.
7. PowerPoint slide show controll, next and previous slides. So between the PDA Tytn and my Laptop should also be an connection. This is a longshot, i Was beta testing some SideShow software (http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...17960&SiteID=1) butt they stopped suddenly. They had however a Side Show rendered for a Windows Mobile device aswell.
8. The game Snake eats apples on the watch, top left button makes the snake turns left, bottom left button makes the snake turns right.

7 and 8 are 'WILD' ideas and not totally serious

Never used it, what does it do? I will enable it to find out, perhaps it is a reminder each X minutes that i missed a Call? I will report back to you after the Carnaval!

Some people say's that SmartWatchM needs to run 'as a service' . To me it isn't a bigg deal, On both PDA's I can "exclude" the SmartWatchM application from the Task Manager. This way it is only visible from the "Memory Manager" or just by activating the SmartWatchM application again.
I think, looking at most of the questions, a better installation instruction/procedure/install script. Few people have had problems with finding the free COM ports and adding the registry entries. Also the need of the 'right' version of .NET is not completely clear for me, i used your download of .NET Sp2.

Well, i was waiting for you to ask use any feature requests.... Hope this list isn't long enough
I will be off-line for three day's it is Carnaval in the Netherlands, so alotta beer and music will be over-floating my brains next couple a day's.

Greetings from Tom

Hmm, HTC home is bad news for me, won't work on vga screens such as my E-ten x800.
Let's just hope HTC comes with a proper VGA version, but we won't know till they actually release a cga device other than the universal and athena.

Well it does work, that's not the problem.
The screen size of the E-ten is a VGA screen fit in a qVGA size screen.
Effectively it works but is unusable due to the small text and buttons, that's why I'm not using it.
I can provide you a photo to make it clear.
