Default Bluetooth Address book sync with Ford Mondeo Handsfree
Hi,

Having problems with Address book sync with my new Touch Dual (orange Rom) and my Ford Mondeo Convers+ Bluetooth Handsfree kit. I did have the same problem with my work Hermes (also Orange M3100 Rom) until I did a Rom update to Schap’s 4.20+ Full Rom a couple months ago. Since then all works fine even without ‘JETware Hands-free Extension’ being loaded.

Checked for ‘SAP Access’ /’ Push Obex’ and both units are set the same.

I’ve checked both devices and they are both running the Microsoft stack shown by looking at the Bluetooth ‘HKLM\Drivers\Active’ driver registry area.

Does anyone know of a fix or have a idea?

I have a Focus, with the same Ford car kit.

My Hermes also couldn't transfer contact info to the car kit. I tried a variety of ROMs, enabling BT SAP and OBEX on each. It was only when I changed to Schaps 4.30 that it worked.

I can only assume that the Ford system is very picky about the BT SAP version, and only the very latest versions will work.

I suspect you will have to wait until someone releases a Niki ROM with a compatible BT SAP in it.
