Quickmark and iNigma, for example, do a fantastic job on QR codes, and one of the reasons is the ability of QR codes to be easier recognized even in bad captures. I have tried my best to bring a compatible and more or less usable app, in a field where no other FREE AND OPEN app exists yet. While here, remember that, as far as I know, Barcorama was the first app that controls the autofocus capability of the camera! I've also started putting up a companion website (costpad.com) to make something useful out the scanned codes. But I agree, all these are worthless since the app has so hard time reading the codes! A cheap usb barcode reader is WAY-WAY more successful in reading the codes! I hope the upcoming WM ShopShavvy does a better job. I really do. If it is open enough (lets me handle what to do with the barcode), I will use that instead of my OWN app! Heck, if there was such a good+open app 1.5 years ago, I wouldn't even start developing Barcorama. have fun, hypest

Hi, first of all, very nice app. I tried the v. 8 on my Omnia i910 (Verizon) and it works pretty well, but I have to manually select my image from where I have my camera send the files, my storage. Is there any way to change the settings as to where Barcorama looks for the captured images? Also, can i change the browser that it uses to search on the Internet with such as Opera or Skyfire, I hate IE. Didn't know if your newer versions might answer these questions, and if so can I add just those parts to v.8? Thanks for your hard work.

I am sorry ahead of time if this is something I am doing wrong, I am sort of new to installing many 3rd party programs. Some work and some do not. This one does not seem to work, but I am highly interested. Basically what I am doing is downloading The cab and installing the .cab on my SD Card. I do into use the program and i get an unexpected error. I also downloaded the exe of the .9h or somethign like that and it seems to be loading and then it does the same thing. I am running windows mobile 6.1 on an htc ozone. I have the .Net framework updated to 3.5
