Default battery drain after upgrading to WM6

did anyone have this problem with Gene after upgrading to mUn's WM6?
battery seems to long 50 percent or even less comparing to original WM5 rom. reminds me of a problem with my s200 after upgrading to a coocked WM5 rom couple of years ago.
charged it fully at 2300 did not touch at all and at 0700 indicator showed 73 percent.
dont want to go back to damn WM5 still hope that after several charges the battery gets calibrated.

waterdeep, I've been using WM6 from the very first day it came out and i didn't noticed any significant battery drainage! a full charge still lasts 3 days with 1-2 hours of calls a day & major usage of outlook.

Alright, its not the rom upgrade.
Charged my gene to 100%, put it aside for 14 hours, checked it and it's still on 100%.

I an having the same problem, I have a battery meter tester installed on the phone when it had WM5 and WM6.. the consumption rate is up by 120%..
Guess this will require a bigger battery pack..

Lightbulb Battery drains to 50% then stays there.

After my old battery's liftime was over I bought a new one, put it into my HTC Wizard, then switched the device on.

Everything worked fine, the battery was 'preloaded' to 50% - I thought - because that's the value the battery indicator was showing.

After charging to 100% I plugged the Wizard off and I could almost watch the battery draining back to 50%.

BUT: Because the battery lifetime from 50-10% is that long (aprx. 2d standby and 4h gprs/bluetooth/display > ON), I don't think it's a battery hardware problem.

On the battery was written: 'Charge to 100% - then put into device' but because I don't have an external charger, so I didn't follow this suggestion.

Could it be a problem with some kind of calibration (maybe the device reminds the 100% voltage at some point?)

Sometimes this trick helps:
Switched-off device charging until LED light's green. Then plug off and boot. Then plug back into the cradle and charge it up to 100%.
But as I said - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Any ideas welcome to get rid of this bug

No, no problems at all... The new WM6.5 works even faster and more efficiently (even in battery usage aspects) than the old WM5.1 (originally installed in my HTC Gene100)
I suppose you have to check all the settings and also follow some tips (posted somewhere around) about enhancing your battery performance. These describe actions like "drain your battery fully", "remove from the device for 5 mins", "charge it completely" "repeat this process every 2 or 3 months" and so on.
Or even check your ROM version. With all the "cooking" some might be unefficient. Change it for some better ROM.

Greetings

Oh, I've found you some of these tips: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=5087294
