Junior Member - OP Thanks Meter 0 Posts: 28 Join Date: Jul 2007 More Info >	"upgrade" HTC S630 shipping ROM to the latest Dopod ROM I have a HTC S630 device purchased in the US but it seems from the HTC website that this phone is either dead or unsupported..... ....so, I want to upgrade the shipped ROM to the latest new ROM from Dopod (from ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com). When I try the upgrade (despite Dopod and HTC being the same company now !!) it prevents me upgrading with the INVALD VENDOR_ID message. Does anyone have a reliable (preferably free ) method for unlocking the HTC Cavalier device so that I can load any other ROM onto it ? Thanks.
