Hope someone can help me as this is puzzling me !!!

I need to hard reset my vario 2 as i have been reading a lot of threads on this site and my phone has a lot of these problems however i don't want to loose any of my contact and especially my text messages !!

Is there any way i can download or remove the messages and numbers off the phone (either to my pc or my memory card) reset it and re-install them back on to it ?

Yes! there are many back up softwares available,search the forum or hit the 'Search' button at the top of any forum and enter contacts back up softwares,I'm sure you'll find links for all.Well,to give you a start,there's one very reliable and recommended called 'PIMBackup'
