How to flash:
1) make an application unlock
2) copy content of SSPL to root of your device
3) run SPL.lnk
4) run ROM Update Utility.exe on your PC
5) follow the instructions
6) wait until flash process will be completed

First impressions are good - I like the rom quite a bit - neo is very nice - easily a massive stepup from the default start for windows! (If only we had some of the other colors available but I'm happier with brown then nothing!).

That said, this is still by default in Russian (which is fine - it's written by a russian - I don't blame him for having it default to his own language - especially since he was nice enough to include English in the rom). The .cab fix that jony_aa posted for his previous rom (I've attached a copy here for convience but it is jony_aa's .cab) works fine with this rom - just install and reboot and you now have english!

Nice work and props for getting Neo working Jony_aa!

does this english cab enable english for the rest of the built in softwares too? several included 3rd party softwares are in russian.

Unfortunately most of the 3rd party apps are russian only so no, they remain in Russian but it does make WM6 run in English. While I like most of the programs he's installed, I frankly wish he'd released a clean rom as well so I can reinstall all those programs in an english version.

The software that I've found that are still in russian that I've noticed so far is:

CoreAVC
Allreader2
Clockontop

Almost everything else APPEARS on quick look over is in English so it's not too bad!

GPRS Traffic Monitor does give an error that it's 20 days trial is over which is kind of annoying (though I don't use that program so it doesn't effect me).

Also, along the top where the clock appears when running an app, it remains in 24 hour (military time) regardless of setting in regional settings.

I'm still overall quite happy with this rom

Do I need a memory card? I ran application unlock with no problem. But when I run SPL.lnk it looks for sd card then the ROM Update Utility.exe gives me an error on the pc. Any help?

If you like to change from russion to english there is no need to install english cab because there is english support in the rom

here is the guide:

press the left softkey (menu)
press 9 (setting)
press 0 (more)
press 3 (regional setting)

The 1st option is (Language)
change to english by pressing on it and choose the 2nd option
restart your phone and now u can mess with it since it is in english

i wish this rom have office and adobe like the cingular rom XD

I have already been browsing for themes and now have this sweet blue theme for neo from this site: http://freddyreyes.com/forums/

they are under the download section and you do have to register to the forum but they are free and the themes do work on our phones.
