When you are flashing to ANY unofficial rom from Qtek rom (not Cingular) or making a SuperCID (CID Unlock), you need to make an application (aka registry) unlock to launch pdocwrite or SoftSPL:

Code:
Download regeditSTG2 which is digitally signed (get it from the attach)
Then install it and change some registry values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001001 = 2
-> change to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001005 = 16
-> change to 40
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\00001017 = 128
-> change to 144
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies\Policies
-> create new key "0000101a": Dword = 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Security\Policies\Policies
-> create new key "0000101b": Dword = 1"
This is due to Qtek rom have more security keys than Cingular.

For Cingular rom you can just use SDA Application Unlock app (get it from the attachment), but this manual also applies for the most HTC smartphones.

It is very good - BUT your average user does not want that much info - all they want is to be told exactly what to do without having to think. This is where Erofich's instructions score - yours are more detailed but your 'average' punter doesn't care. That certainly doesn't nmean you shouldn't have provided the info you did tho!

Thanks
