Default HTC Shift External Charging Battery

We all know the Shift has limited battery life, therefore it's important we either carry a spare battery or an external battery charger.

I have found a few good products:
http://www.dvhardware.net/review120_acryan_mobilit.html
and
http://www.computerbatteries.co.uk/gb3/b/ubp0767b.html

The problem is the Shift uses 12V Voltage, these battery are for 15V and 19V, so we will need to find one which has a 12V output in it. Any ideas here?

Yea, i seen this one as well, the reason why i don't like it is because it's so thick, if you compare it to the one i mention above, you can see the thickness difference. I hope we can find something better then this.

But that one has a 19V output, HTC Shift uses 12V output, will that work? have you try it?

yes, i know that's what we expect it theory, but we can never trust that, therefore it's best if some one can actually test it, see how fast it will charge the HTC shift, and how long it will last, i too will do some more research and see whether there is any good product out there.

My unit arrived and works fine with shift. Voltage can be set to 12v and there is a jack like shifts one. I will charge it for several hours and tomorrow I will do a test. I will leave it turned on to check how many hours we get.
