HTC task manager question

I'm scared this question has been asked before, but it was difficult searching through google search. I'm using Task Manager 2.0 and I have it set to the option where pressing X closes the programs. all I want to do is specify certain programs minimize, while some others close with an X. There is an exclusive tab, which I have no idea what it does. I try holding my stylus down and not really any options. Can this task manager do such a thing or it does what it does?

You've got he right idea, but you're probably on the wrong tab in Task Manager. Open the program you want to minimize instead of close. Then navigate to the Task Manager settings page and select/hold the program on the 'Running' tab. One of the options will be Add Exclusive which will move the program to the Exclusive tab.
