Copy CAB file to storage card or device memory, start File Explorer or similar program, find CAB and tap on it and READ FAQ before ask a question like this.

milesmowbray,

Thanks for the updated version of TCPMP. I'm late but, I finally said gooodbye to WM5 and got a phone with 6.1 and was hurt when TCPMP crashed and wouldn't work....

Again, thanks for the effort and for sharing.

Great !
finally I can select audio and sub streams in mp4 files...
the only draw-back for the time being is, that the play-back is a little bit choppy in comparison to wmplayer... but wmp doesn't allow to select audio or sub-streams...
I'm using WM6.5 on a htc diamond 2;
I have tried all kind of set-ups for the playback in tcpmp, but never got the smooth play-back like in the wmp...
any tips?

Is it everyone have their functionalities??? example ..

-TCPMP 5500 Edition Alpha 4.1 is using original TCPMP RC1 to enhance ...
-TCPMP news: new VS2008 same using TCPMP RC1 to enhance ...

How about TCPMP RC2??? is it support more code then the above??? more smooth???

The answer is in other question Why is there so many Linux distributions and fever Windows Os versions. The availibilyty of source code alows anyone who is interested to modify it and release its own custom version.

The TCPMP RC2 is aimed to be all in one player which has all plugins that works!!! that I cannot say for other versions. About decoding speeds they should be about the same in some cases a bit slower in some a bit faster.

Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but..
I got some .mov trailers from apple.com. When I try to play them I get a warning message which says "player video codec AVC aka H.264 not supported by the player".
I got the AAC and ffmpeg plugins and can play mkv and avi files.
Audio is "mp4a" and video is 'avc1".

Sorry if I'm bumping a dead thread, but this is great! Working awesomely on my HTC Snap (aka Maple). I tried other builds like RC2 and RC1 but the latter crashed on startup, and RC2 just spat the dummy when loading a Xvid AVI.

+1 to milesmowbray!
