Duttys 6.1 rom BatteryStatus - nag screen issue?

Hi there.

I downloaded and installed Duttys 6.1 rom which is ace.

However i have now got LOTS of nag screens for Batterystatus advanced beta. They say




"BatteryStatus Today-Plugin.

This is shareware and you can use it "as it is" and as long as you wamt.

Thankyou for using BatteryStatus Advanced. "


Now i really like the software, i don't like being told this once every 5 minutes on average!!!!!



In the "about" tab of the software it gives the following info............

Ver 1.04.203 beta4 build 0266

Key M61-SHD-xxx (edited)

Unregistered Copy.


I assume that the registering will be what solves this issue. However i have gone to the makers site but can see no way of doing this. I have also done a search.

Any thoughts????

Did a more thorough search and found it was an issue with the earlier software.

Upgraded and resolved now - please consider the issue closed.

Mine has just started doing the same ... I thought it was something to do with a conflict with S2U2 0.99p but could have been from initialising the Cube.
Disabled it in the Today screen menu.
How did you over come the issue and what 'old' software ?

What version did you install then?
I can only find 0.04.203. Is this an older or newer version?

Google search xda. The developer puts his latest builds in some forum in some thread.

Ver 1.04.203 beta4 build 0266

I have the same version 266 and got the same message today 3-31-08 on my HTC Herald/Wing. Why update a stable version??? I suppose this is a timed-obsolescence for a compulsory update... a shady practice if the developer wants to plant a virus by forcing a timed compulsory update.

BS Version 266 was the last stable version I installed before my phone lost the ability to Add/Remove programs last month, so I can't install any other version now. I do not want to do a HardReset since I have 30+ installed programs, and it's gonna take me a few days to reinstall them all. Can't install any programs... Can't install a new version... and can't get rid of the nag screen. So I had to disable BS from the Today Plugin screen...

And I thought Icarus (chi-tai) was a stand-up guy... WTF... i'm just ranting.

i had the same problem today while i was at work. Thats the reason im in this thread because i was tryin to find another version to download and i see im not the only one who had this issue.

i think this was a prob with a lot of ppl that have this rom for a long time same thing happend to me today ... thanks for the link
