Origami 2.0 Weather Update

Anyone can change the weather location and get weather updates?

I tried many times and it returns error saying search service is not enabled....

Yes I did that. Origami is cool. I seem to remember that selecting another city is difficult as hell. You really have to give an "enter" keystroke to accept the new city.

after first boot of my shift, closed origami. than i'm gone on control pannel and unistalled it.

Intuitively, you would think you could change the city as with HTC Home, but not the case here. MS knows better, you need to tap the settings gear then add a new tile. When you add the new weather tile, you get to search the new city by name or by zip code (USA). Then if you are annoyed by the default Seatle Weather tile, remove it! Try connected to WiFi and/or through GSM. I beleive the WiFi connected and updated when I added my local town.

I of course have internet connection established and available for all other programs...

Is there a registry fix?

We understand, you don't want Origami Experience. Fine for you, you don't have to post it in any thread that discusses OE.

I have the same issue. I am not able to update weather tile.

I have now found out, you have to set your location and system locale to United States to make it work..... not sure why there is such requirement....
