Hi there !
To great request... I publish my small-apps to make work better the PPC and avoid different issues with Windows Mobile.
These apps are included in my last rom [WM 6.1 Elegance 2.12 ITA] and [WM 6.1 Elegance 2.12 WWE].
If you want use my applications in your rom or publish it in other forums please write credits or greetings to me !!!
I am not responsible for malfunctions or similar related to the installation and use of these applications !

ASyncKiller
This application allows to kill the ActiveSync process when it's in idle state but it just hold in memory...

AutoHibernate
This application permits to recover some memory, sending WM_HIBERNATE message to all active applications... such as oxios hibernate, my application do the same but in auto-mode, and free up memory when there is not any window in foreground.

IrBthDetector
This application allows to save some energy in your PPC, enabling the OBEX and scanmode in Bluetooth/Irda only when it's enabled by user.
In this way only if user enables Bluetooth/Irda the PPC will receive data from other devices !

ProcessKiller alias HTCDlg_killer
This small program, permits to kill processes windows that holds memory still after closing them.
For example in some version of HTC Home, after selected the city for forecast , a child-process according to the record size of all cities in list will holds from 600 KB to 7MB in RAM !!!
To solve this issue, when the process is in a idle state, it will killed automatically by processKiller.
There are a lot of cases that processKiller it could be used... so the cab contains a configurator to add other processes over the real application.

How it works ?
ProcessKiller doesn't use the process name to make a kill-action, but it uses the window title or the window class name.
It uses a text file "processkiller.ini" that includes all windows that must be closed automatically.

In the cab as default there is the follow list:

HTC_Dlgwx <- kills htc home windows
HTCActionScreen <- kills htc action screen windows
Cyberon SDDaemon <- kills cyberon daemon windows
VoiceCommanderApp <- kills voicecommander windows
COMMMANAGER <-kills commmanager windows
Calendar <-kills calendar windows

How to get the classname or title of a window to be killed ?
Simply it could be used an advanced TaskManager such as [FdcSoft Task Manager], in this case just select the processes list and hold tap one of it, so select details and go in "Windows" tab to check what kind of window you would kill...

I installed AutoHibernate, but I don't see where it installs, if it is working or how to configure it. Please help...

No it's all automatic, you can't configure it, just install the cab and soft reset, finally check with the task manager if there is a process called Autohibernate in the process list ! Bye !

ASyncKiller - I have been looking for a program like this. My activesync runs all the time. Even after I have manually killed it. And I don't have an email account to keep it active. So, I really appreciate this app. I will give it ago and report back.
