How I Can Run A Live Cd On Shift??????

Hello my friends does somebody know how i could run a live cd like linux ,ubuntu,backtrack from shift??? i would really like to have it in my shift all the time lets say the backtrack live cd.... if someone explain it what tools i need and all the procedure......how to....THANK YOU IN ADVANCE....

Maybe try running it from the USB port via a USB memory stick?

Install backtrack on a USB pendrive:

then boot from USB (Fn+F10 at boot time).

First of all thanks for your help man it was very helpfull except the configuration of the wlan and 3g activation. Is it possible for you to provide me with some easier solution because i dont know how to compile in linux?? and something else, if you know any site to provide me with tutorials videos how to work with backtrack cd???? Thank you in any way man you are fantastic.
