Default Bad performance on WM6 calendar

Hi everybody,

First I want to thank for getting full WM6 on my shift! It is really great!

MY problem is the calendar. I use Pocketinformant (been using it on my pda-devices for a long time) for shift also and if I want so save a new appointment or edit it and then save again, the sytem freezes for at least 40 seconds. Then I can go ahead normally. This is really annoying! I have to admit, that I have a lot of calendar data (at least 1000) and the pim-file on WM6 is 4,8 MB big. Could it be the size of the pim-data? But my pda-devices in former times could manage it also without problems.
IF I don't want to save a thing in calendar, the working speed is good (scrolling, searching for items, ...). In mormal WM6-calendar the problem is the same, by the way.
Does anybody have the same problem and maybe an solution for this?

My shift is a german device.

BEst regards,

Sebastian

how much free memory have you got left? I think we all will have a new device to look forward to when the shift team figures out how to let the wm-part see the sd-slot! That would be a MAJOR break. I have pm, tm and presentation from softmaker installed as well as tcpmp, and thats all I have space for, now i cannot download more than 10 mails before I get "no more memory error"
I will be patiently waiting for the shift team to save my day ;)

I have about 18 MB of free data memory and 20 MB RAM left. I only liberated my shift, installed realVGA and PocketInformant.

Best regards

I also had the problems with saving appointments. Disabeling the SnapVue Today item solved it:

Go to: settings > Today > Select Theme > choose Windows Default > Tab Items > Disable SnapVue
